Absalom Jones was the first African American to be ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church in the United States. After pausing an in-person observance during the pandemic, Voorhees University plans to return to a celebration of the Feast Day of Absalom Jones with a service on Tues., Feb. 7, at 11 AM. All are welcome to this event at St. Philip's Chapel. Bishop Ruth Woodliff-Stanley will participate in the service.
