Children's Christian Formation - On Sunday mornings, children meet in the Center for lessons based on the scriptural readings assigned for that Sunday. This brings the lessons for parents and children together so that families may discuss and explore them together. Following the class, children will be escorted to church to join their parents during the Peace and to share in the Holy Eucharist.
ADULT EDUCATION
At St. Mark's, we value the importance of Christian education and formation. The following opportunities are presented throughout the year.
Wandering Rector - Our "Wandering Rector" invites you to a lively discussion of topics you choose. The location and date of these coffeehouse gatherings varies from week to week. Please consult our Upcoming Events page for the current schedule.
Other Christian Education Classes - Adult education classes taught by Father Roy and others. These classes will include Sunday and weekday opportunities to deepen our faith as we journey together. See our Upcoming Events page for any current offerings.
Adult Inquirers Class - Led by our Rector, this group is for adults who wish to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church, to be reaffirmed, or to learn more about the Episcopal Church.
Pilgrimages - St. Mark’s periodically offers to adult worshippers an opportunity to expand their spirituality, faith, and church history through guided pilgrimages to various places such as the Holy Land and Scotland.
