The adult ed program for Advent will consist of a four-week series entitled, "Advent Waiting, Advent Hope.” Each week we will explore what it means to be human in this season of waiting. How and where do we find hope amid all the challenges we are facing in our individual lives and communities? I feel this Advent calls for a fresh approach to finding the presence of the Incarnate Word in our everyday lives. My hope is that this series will provide an opening for people to join together as we explore the various themes of Advent through prayer, scripture, reflection and engaging one another. The classes, offered via Zoom, begin Wed., Dec. 2, and continue Dec. 9 and 16. with final class on Tues., Dec. 22. There will a morning session at 10 AM and an evening one at 7 PM. -- Rev. Roy Tripp
