The book of Acts is one of the most action-oriented books in all of the Bible. Purportedly written by the author(s) of Luke, it is the earliest account of the creation of the Church. In reading this ancient script, we discover interesting parallels between what occurred then and what many of us have experienced on our spiritual journey today. (Okay. Okay. Maybe we haven’t had a baptism of 3,000 at one time.) Come explore the birth of the Church and in so doing discover insights into our St. Mark’s community. This four-part adult ed series continues with sessions at 10 AM and 6:30 PM on Wednesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 22. Holy Eucharist at 5:30 in the church and a simple supper at 6:00 in the Center precede the evening session.
